The Atlas School of Dance
produces an annual benefit concert. This recital gives students
an opportunity to perform in front of an audience, building
self-confidence and self esteem.
It also instills a value of giving to all who perform as every year the
studio chooses an
organization to benefit children who are less fortunate. In the
last 34 years, Atlas
School of Dane has been able to help: Lucille Packard Children's
Hospital at Stanford,
Hadassah Hospital, Crippled Children's Society, M.A.D.D., San Jose
Medical Center's,
CAPI/PEDI ICU, Grass Roots, Terra Residential Center, Cancer Society,
Sunburst Project
AIDS, Gallaudet University Young Scholars Program for deaf teens,
Jacob's Heart,
Justin Wise and JW House. Atlas School of Dance Recital 2006 will be
held on
June 23rd and 24th to benefit a chosen children's charity. Participation
is not required.
